The tank mode gets its own loving close-up every single time, right down to the cute little robot sidekick. Denise Crosby, a year before Star Trek, plays the scientist like her life depends on it. Video shops couldn't keep it on the shelf. Say the word "Mandroid" to the right person and watch their face light up.
